My granny loves Loki XDSo, a month ago I learned that my mother ships Hiddlesworth XD
Now I've found that my granny is madly in love with Loki and Tom XD
This evening I was watching the Avengers with her (not for the first time) and she was fangirling everytime he was on the screen

At the beginning of the movie she screamed "Oh, Loki! You are so beautiful! Look at him! Isn't he sweet? Come on, Loki! Punch them in the face! Oh, he is so cute!" XD
I was like "Granny, he is the villain..." and she aswered "It doesn't matter! He is beautiful!"

Features, Contests, and Other JunkHello all!
Man, I've been a busy bee in the last two weeks or so. And I have much to say!
First, let me say University is very rewarding. Although I'm getting piled up with a lot of different work and challenge, It's been very exciting and rewarding. I'm really walking away with something great, and I love it

So, even though I have a lot of work, I'm going to try and stay as active as I can!
Okay, now that's out of the way...
Commissions
I've started commissions! Finally! I have three slots open but I haven't had any requests yet. I work a lot with character designs (I really don't mind doing OC's, but I can't promise anything with anthro OCs), landscape and a lot of other things. Plans for the rest of my points+kiribanSince my contests weren't as popular as I thought they would be, I'm stuck with the points that were originally going to be used as prizes for the contests. Since I don't really have any need for them anymore, I'm going to start giving them away to my friends. I have several things planned to make it fun while giving away my points.
~~For starters, I have a 100 point giveaway. The details are in another journal. 20 people will have a shot at 100 points each! I will draw the winning numbers on the 28th.~~ CLOSED
Next up, I have four 500 point kiribans planned. The remaining number to catch is 20,000. When catching these, send them to me through a note like the last kiriban I did. It must be the exact number.

Also. I'm Still Trying to pay off my vet bill. I'm still struggling. And i still need to make a bit more money. I really appreciate all the commissions i've gotten so far. But i'm still in a pickle. I'm even down to the point where i will sketch whatever you want for 3$. Even OC's. Thats right. 3$ sketch commissions.
I accept money through the mail, or in Paypal. I'm also extremely flexible and will work out other payment processes if need be.
Commission prices are:
10$ for a fully drawn character, as much detail as you want. B&W. It my flat rate. Inked if you want it.
3$ for a sketch of any character.
If you want anything colored, We can negotiate a price for colored pencil, or digital.
If you want backgrounds the base price is 5$. But the more complicated the background the more the pr

I'm one of those strange, clannish people you sometimes, by which I mean rarely, hear about. As of late I have had some troubles in my Congregation, which I have since left due to irreconcilable tension, pending my formation of a friendship with the lady who has since become my best friend. (I am currently searching for a surrogate Congregation that I can call home.) By clannish, I mean I am very relational. My loyalty (a sure sign of honour) is very important to me and can be ranked thusly: 1. Loyalty to the Tribe, and 2. Loyalty to the Clan.
The Tribe is a loose term which for me can be defined as including people of my own Faith (Catholic) and of loose to close relation. For me, relation does not necessarily limit itself to blood. Since I define friendship very archaically (think in terms of the fivefo

Saint Joseph ReflectionToday is the Feast Day of Saint Joseph. Saint Joseph was the foster-father of the Lord when He condescended and took on human flesh. Today, he is the Patron Saint of the Church Universal - but also of woodworkers, craftsmen, homes, and various other things up to and culminating in (hopefully) a perfect end, which these days is rendered "peaceful death."
My best friend, who has her finger on the pulse of Liturgical orthopraxis, has advised and adjured me to reflect on this Saint - who, in addition to being summarily important, is also (theoretically) the Patron Saint of my College... and therefore my education, my most important secular goal in life. I say theoretically because SJC does not celebrate his Feast Day, not "officially" anyway. Yet we do make a big ruckus and a hullaballoo over pagan holidays such as MLK day, Washington's birthday, et cetera... none of which having anything to do with the Faith.

We seem to drift through life at times, never quite taking stock of what we have and how best to use our gifts to inspire and change the world, even a fraction. I've been guilty of this for the past few months. Many things have taken shape in that time while others have becoming increasingly blurred and unfocused.
I passed my Masters Degree in Law not without incident and mishaps, I gained promotion at work bringing new challenges and opportunities come September, Max continues to grow into a playful little munchkin, I had to sell my beloved camera as money has been short.
Though there is much to be grateful for I have in all honesty been devoid of inspiration, bereft in depth and destitute of any passion this past year. I seem to be living for the procrastination of weekends when all I do is wish my time away with increasing and annoying ease.

The lady enquiring was the next door neighbour. I'm fairly sure she was expecting me to answer with 'fireman', 'policeman', or some other job that would fit the norm for most people. I smiled, looked at her and said, 'I'm going to be an Artist'.
Well of course, every five year old says that when they have a crayon in their hand and a face covered in colour, but I really did know at that age what I was going to do for the rest of my life. Hence, the next thirteen years of great expenditure on my private boys school education by my parents seemed, even to me, to have been a waste of money considering I knew what I was going to do.
